Anacacho Wind Farm
RD Energy Group, LLC, was the initial developer of the Anacacho Wind Farm, a 100-MW wind project in operation in Kinney County, Texas. E.On Climate and Renewables acquired the site from RDEG and constructed the project using 1.8 MW Vestas wind turbines.
Tahoka Wind Project
RDEG was the initial developer of the 300 MW Tahoka Wind Project that was completed in 2019. It consists of 120 GE Wind Energy 2.5 MW turbines. The project was constructed, owned, and operated by Lincoln Clean Energy (now part of Ørsted) which acquired the project development rights from RDEG in 2016.
Sage Draw Wind Project
RDEG was the initial developer of the 338 MW Sage Draw Wind Project that was completed in 2020. It consists of 120 GE Wind Energy 2.82 MW turbines. The project was constructed, owned, and operated by Ørsted which acquired the project development rights from RDEG in 2016.
Staked Plains Energy Complex Phase III
RDEG sold the development rights to this potential 200 to 300 MW wind project in Garza County, Texas to Lincoln Clean Energy (now part of Ørsted) in 2016.
Windpiper/Sunpiper Projects
RDEG is continuing on development of a potential multiphase wind and/or solar energy project covering large areas of Jones, Fisher, and Stonewall Counties of Texas, and currently has over 20,000 acres under lease.
